NEET-UG Results Controversy: Supreme Court To Hear Additional Petitions Against NTA Today
The Supreme Court is scheduled to hear a series of petitions challenging the results of the National Entrance-cum-Eligibility Test (NEET-UG 2024) on Thursday. Earlier, the court had instructed that all petitions alleging paper leaks and requesting investigations be consolidated and listed for July 8.
Additionally, the vacation bench will address petitions filed by the National Testing Agency seeking the transfer of NEET-UG 2024 cases from various high courts to the Supreme Court.
Controversy has surrounded the National Entrance-cum-Eligibility Test (NEET) for Undergraduate medical admissions since the exams were conducted on May 5. The Supreme Court on Thursday also ordered that all petitions alleging paper leak and unfair means to be tagged together and be heard on July 8 and sought NTA's response on issues other than compensatory marks.
