The Supreme Court is scheduled to hear pleas from the National Testing Agency (NTA) today, requesting the transfer of multiple NEET UG 2024 cases from various High Courts to the apex court. Additionally, a plea for a CBI investigation into alleged paper leaks and malpractices during the exam will be considered. The Centre has informed the Supreme Court that it has rescinded the grace marks awarded to 1,563 students. They will receive revised scores and have the option to retake the exam. Students declining the retest will have their scores from the May 5 exam considered.
NTA has already issued a notice announcing a re-examination for students who benefited from grace marks. This re-exam is scheduled for June 23, 2024, with results expected on June 30, 2024.
