Naval version of BrahMos successfully test-fired from INS Ranvijay

The naval version of BrahMos was test-fired successfully on Tuesday. The activity took place in the Bay of Bengal with the help of INS Ranvijay. This was part of a series of tests for the supersonic missile. The first test was done on November 24.
Post the successful firing of the missile, the Indian Navy tweeted about it and informed the world that, 'Indian Navy honed its combat readiness.'
