Mumbai: Police lathicharge lockdown violators

Mumbai Police retorted to lathicharge on those people who were seen out on roads despite a nationwide lockdown imposed by PM Modi. The number of patients suffering from Coronavirus has increased to 562 in the country. At the same time, it has so far costed 11 lives. 

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday announced the world's biggest lockdown to prevent the further spread of the virus. The lockdown, implemented from Tuesday midnight, will continue in the country for the next 21 days.
