Monsoon Attack: Orange alert in Mumbai today
The India Meteorological Department has forecast thunderstorms with lightning and moderate to intense spells of rain with gusty winds 30-40 kmph for the next hours at isolated places in the districts of Palghar, Thane, Raigad, and Mumbai. The IMD advised taking precautions while moving out and asked residents to not stand near large trees.

Meanwhile, For the fourth time in a week, Maharashtra's Covid-19 death toll climbed to a new peak, while the total cases crossed the 59 lakh mark though fresh infections dropped, health officials said on Sunday.
