Narendra Modi was sworn in as Prime Minister at the Rashtrapati Bhavan on Sunday, marking his third consecutive term in office. This historic event makes him only the second Prime Minister after Jawaharlal Nehru to achieve this feat. Modi took the oath in the name of God, administered by President Droupadi Murmu. Alongside Modi, senior BJP leaders Rajnath Singh, Amit Shah, Nitin Gadkari, Nirmala Sitharaman, and S. Jaishankar were sworn in as cabinet ministers, reflecting the Prime Minister's focus on continuity and experience. Notably, these leaders held prominent positions in Modi's previous term. Party president J.P. Nadda returned to the cabinet after a five-year hiatus, while former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and ex-Haryana CM Manohar Lal Khattar joined the cabinet as new faces.
