Maharashtra: Police Personnel Attacked By Mob In Jalgaon | ABP News

Police personnel were attacked by an angry mob in Jalgaon, Maharashtra. Many policemen were injured in the attack. The mob also attempted to burn down a petrol pump station.

Six days ago, a 6-year-old girl was raped by a man. The police located and arrested the accused. A mob gathered and demanded that the accused be handed over to them. However, the police refused to comply. Subsequently, the mob attacked the police, prompting the police to resort to lathi charges.

Many policemen have been injured in this incident. Following the stone-pelting and arson incident in Jamner, the injured policemen have been admitted to private and district hospitals in Jalgaon. On this occasion, Senior Police Officer Collector Ayush Prasad visited the hospitals, inquired about the injured policemen, and asked about their well-being.
