LS will pass Citizenship Amendment Bill, asserts BJP MP Ravi Kishan
BJP MP from Gorakhpur, Ravi Kishan, while speaking to ABP News asserted that the Citizenship Amendment Bill will surely be passed in Lok Sabha. He said that this bill would give a unique identification to India. Hitting out at the opposition, Ravi Kishan said, "Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikaas, Sabka Vishwas is what PM Modi swears by and the opposition is indulging in vote politics."
The Union Cabinet on Wednesday gave its nod to the Citizenship (Amendment) Bill, 2019, that seeks to provide Indian nationality to Hindus, Christians, Sikhs, Parsis, Jains and Buddhists fleeing persecution from Pakistan, Afghanistan and Bangladesh.
