Kamala Harris is the first person of Indian origin to be elected as the US Vice President. Her mother Shyamala comes from Chennai. Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S. Jagan Mohan Reddy on Sunday congratulated Harris on becoming the US Vice President-elect.
