Kathua Terror Attack: Five soldiers killed; injured soldiers shifted to Pathankot for treatment
Injured jawans from the Kathua terror attack have been shifted from the Community Health Centre in Kathua’s Billawar to the Military Hospital in Pathankot for further treatment. Five Indian Army soldiers lost their lives, and five others were injured in the terrorist attack in the Machedi area of Kathua. This incident follows the Indian defence forces gunning down six terrorists in two separate encounters on July 7. Notably, J&K has witnessed numerous terror attacks since April. Speaking to ANI, Sheela Devi, Medical officer at Community Health Centre, Billawar said, “Five injured jawans were brought here who have been given the primary treatment. They have been referred to the Military Hospital, Pathankot for treatment...One dead body has been brought here...”
