Kargil Vijay Diwas: Defence Minister pays tribute at National War Memorial

Defence Minister, Rajnath Singh reached National War Memorial in Delhi to pay tribute to the martyrs of the Kargil War. The Chiefs of Armed Forces also paid their tribute. 

Kargil Vijay Divas is celebrated every year on 26 July. The Kargil war lasted for nearly 60 days in 1999 and ended on 26 July. 

This day is celebrated to honor the soldiers who were martyred in the Kargil war.
