Independent candidate Saryu Rai has reached counting centre. He is contesting elections against Chief Minister Raghubar Das.
As the five phases of the Jharkhand Assembly polls concluded on Friday, all the contending political parties have now braced up for the counting of votes, which is taking place today. The Election Commission has made arrangements for counting at all the districts headquarters. The first result is expected around 1 pm but the trends will begin from 8 am onward.
