Jammu & Kashmir: Kishtwar Encounter Claims 2 Soldiers; Families Express Pride in Sacrifice

In Jammu and Kashmir, two significant encounters with militants have led to casualties among security forces. In Kishtwar, a fierce gunfight with terrorists resulted in the martyrdom of two army personnel. The deceased have been identified as Naib Subedar Vipin Kumar and Arvind Singh. Following the intense clash, security forces have established a tight perimeter around the area and are conducting an ongoing search operation to apprehend any remaining militants. In another engagement in Baramulla, the security forces successfully neutralized terrorists after a prolonged encounter. The situation in both regions remains tense, with security personnel working tirelessly to ensure the area’s safety and prevent further militant activity. The sacrifices of Naib Subedar Vipin Kumar and Arvind Singh have been honored with tributes from their comrades and officials. At Arvind Singh’s ancestral home in Hamirpur, his younger brother, Parmjit Singh, expressed profound grief over his brother’s death but also immense pride in his sacrifice for the nation. Singh’s bravery and dedication to serving the country are deeply appreciated, and his loss is being felt deeply by his family and the nation. The ongoing operations in both Kishtwar and Baramulla reflect the heightened efforts of the security forces in countering militant threats and ensuring peace in the region.
