Jammu Kashmir Hideout Raid: Security Forces Uncover Terror Shelter In Dense Forest

Security forces in Jammu and Kashmir have discovered a hidden terrorist shelter deep inside a forested area during a joint search operation. The raid led to the recovery of several items, including camouflage clothing, gas cylinders, and food supplies indicating that militants had been using the spot as a long-term hideout. The operation was launched following intelligence inputs about suspicious movement in the region. Officials stated that the hideout was well-concealed among dense trees and rugged terrain, designed to help militants evade surveillance. The recovery of domestic materials such as cooking gas cylinders and food packets suggests the place served as a temporary base for planning and regrouping. Security personnel have since intensified combing operations across nearby forest belts to ensure no further militant camps exist in the area. Preliminary investigations are underway to identify which group the militants belonged to, and experts believe the discovery marks a significant step in disrupting terrorist infrastructure in the Union Territory.
