J&K: Security forces carries out search operation in Samba in wake of Kathua Terror attack

Samba (J&K), July 10 (ANI): Security forces conducted a search operation in J&K’s Samba on July 10. The security forces carried out massive search operation in the dense jungles of Samba.  Search operation conducted in the wake of a terrorist attack on an Indian Army convoy on 8th July in Kathua that claimed the lives of 5 soldiers. J&K Police SP-SOG Guru Ram Bhardwaj said, "This is a routine search operation and aerial domination exercise... Whenever such incidents (terrorist attacks) happen, it becomes obvious for us to ensure the safety of the area that falls under our jurisdiction... Joint exercises are regular and since the area is close to the border, regular search operations and keeping an eye on the activities in the area becomes a necessity..."
