Farmers shower gifts on sugar mill inspector on his retirement

You must have heard stories of sugarcane farmers and mill inspectors at odds over the payment dues. But in Sonipat, Haryana, these farmers made the retirement of a mill inspector memorable.

On the retirement of Mahabir Singh, the farmers of the area bid him farewell by offering them a car worth Rs 15 lakh, a bullet and a garland of notes of Rs 10 lakh. Singh retired after 35 years of service.
