Heavy snowfall cuts off Spiti from rest of the world

If you live in plains, chances are you might like the thought of visiting mountains in winters and watching the snowfall. But sometimes, incessant snowfall brings a lot of trouble. Lahaul-Spiti in Himachal Pradesh has been facing continuous snowfall for a month. The roads are completely submerged under snow and the district headquarters have been cut off from the world.
