Gyanvapi Row: Survey from the lake to begin shortly; all eyes on Vajukhana | LIVE from Varanasi
The videography survey of Varanasi's Gyanvapi Masjid complex is in its third day and is expected to be completed today, according to court committee officials. According to Varanasi CP Satish Ganesh, Special Advocate Vishal Singh arrived at the mosque grounds at 8 a.m. today and began assessing the complex with his survey and technical team. Speaking to reporters outside the Gyanvapi Masjid, Advocate Sudhir Tripathi informed that nearly 80% of the task has been completed and that the court would decide on any developments in the survey. The Varanasi local court has ordered the completion of the survey of the Gyanvapi mosque and the submission of a detailed report before it by May 17.
