Gujarat: Massive fire at Vatva GIDC chemical factory led to series of explosions
A major fire broke out late night in Gujarat Industrial Development Corporation Phase-2 at Vatva, Ahmedabad. The fire broke out in a chemical factory, after which four factories also caught fire. Twenty-five vehicles of the fire department have been used to extinguish the fire.
8 blasts were caused by the fire, the explosions were so fast that its sound was heard up to three kilometers away. Glasses of windows of nearby factories were also broken by the sound of explosions.
