Gujarat: Man Arrested For Sedition After Being ‘Honeytrapped’ | ABP News
A 29-year-old man employed at a private firm in Ankleshwar that supplies components to Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) has been arrested on charges of sedition and terrorism for sharing “vital information” with a purported Pakistani ISI agent after being allegedly “honeytrapped”.
According to CID Crime, the accused — Pravin Mishra — came in contact with the purported Pakistani ISI handler through Facebook first in November 2023. The intelligence operative posed as ‘Sonal Garg’ who works with IBM in Chandigarh, said CID (Crime and Railways) ADGP Rajkumar Pandian. The operative would interact with Mishra, a native of Muzaffarpur, pretending to be a romantic partner, police said.
