Government issues guidelines for Covid Vaccine Transportation

DGCA has issued guidelines for Covid vaccine transportation by air. As per the directives, the airlines will carry the vaccines in dry ice. Airline staff will be trained for proper handling of the vaccine. 
Covid-19 vaccination in India is expected to start in the next few days as the Drugs Controller General of India has approved two vaccines, AstraZeneca and Oxford’s Covid-19 vaccine, Covishield manufactured by the Serum Institute in India and Bharat Biotech’s Covaxin.
