Explained: Why were 12 opposition members suspended?

The winter session of the parliament was noisy and chaotic. All of it happened because of the opposition's demand of discussion ahead of the house passing the Farm Laws Withdrawal bill. Post the rocky and stormy session, the Rajya Sabha Speaker suspended 12 opposition members. The reason was their unruly behaviour during the monsoon session.
