Yashashree Shinde went missing on July 25. She worked at a company in Belapur and lived with her family in Uran. On the day of the incident, she left for work in the morning and did not return afterwards. Her family filed a missing person report with the police, who subsequently began their search for her. A few days later, her body was found in the bushes near the railway station. Yashashree's father has accused a man named Dawood Sheikh of her murder.
