Delhi police officers demand formation of Police Welfare Union

Delhi police officers are protesting in the Indian capital. They listed their demands amid which was formation of Police welfare union for the police officers. On the other hand, they wanted FIR against those who misbehaved. They want proper, immediate action against those who misbehaved with police officers.
Earlier, Constable Karan Yadav posted at Mehrauli police station was roughed up by a group of lawyers outside Saket court on Monday. FIRs were registered after a day since the incident. In a video that quickly went viral on social, lawyers were seen assaulting the policeman who was riding a bike.
