Delhi lockdown: Ground report from ITO
The Delhi and Uttar Pradesh governments have appealed to the people not to violate the lockdown and remain indoors to help prevent the spread of the virus. Traffic police personnel present on the spot, allowed doctors, paramedical staff and those carrying supplies of essential commodities to cross over. As compared to other days, after implementation of the lockdowwn, there are very few vehicles to be seen. The national capital wore a deserted look on Monday morning. Fewer vehicles were seen plying on roads as prohibitory orders are currently in force across the city in wake of the coronavirus outbreak.
