Crude oil cheaper than water, petrol and diesel prices may come down

Due to the steep price of crude oil, the price of oil per liter in the country has become cheaper than bottled water. The price of bottled water is Rs 20 per litre, while the price of crude oil is Rs 2212 per barrel. However, the government levies tax on it, due to which the price of petrol and diesel becomes very high. Ajay Bansal, president of the All India Petrol Dealers Association, said that due to the level at which the price of crude oil has reached, there should be a cut of Rs 13-14 per litre in petrol and diesel.
