Congress Party to stage protest across India to support Farmers' Bharat Bandh

The Congress has announced its support to the Bharat Bandh called by farmers on 8 December and said that all the party workers will hold demonstrations everywhere on the day. 

The agitation of farmers against new agricultural laws continues today for the 11th day. The last conversation with Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar was again inconclusive.

Agitating farmers have announced Bharat Bandh to be carried out on 8 December.
