Cold wave in northern India: IMD issues orange alert
India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an orange alert for northern part of India due to intense cold wave conditions. IMD has also predicted that the temperature will dip further on Makar Sankranti.
Delhi-NCR will be covered in fog and the temperature may dip below 3 degrees. In the hilly regions of the country snowfall and intense weather conditions is causing troubles.
