Cloud Burst Devastates Himachal, 4 Dead, Many Missing | ABP News

Heavy rainfall that began late Thursday night in Himachal Pradesh has caused widespread devastation. There were incidents of cloudbursts in three different areas: Mandi, Kullu, and Rampur in Shimla district. Over 50 people have been affected by these cloudbursts. In total, 49 people are missing from the three incidents in Kullu, Mandi, and Rampur, with four confirmed dead and one injured. In a village near the Beas River, nine people were trapped due to the strong water flow but were later rescued by NDRF and fire brigade teams. The disaster damaged four bridges, two pedestrian bridges, 20 houses, and six shops. Five roads and one national highway are blocked. As time passes, the chances of finding the missing individuals alive are diminishing, causing distress among their families.
