Chargesheet filed in Palghar lynching case

Maharashtra CID has filed the chargesheet in Palghar Lynching case. As per the chargesheet, there is no communal angle to the lynching. The chargesheet alleges that the killings of the sadhus by violent mob took place due to rumours of child lifting that had been spread in the area. Two sadhus and a driver were lynched by a group of mob in front of police in Palghar earlier this year.
