Charanjit Singh Channi LIVE | 'There was no security lapse, don't give it a political angle'
Punjab Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi expressed regret over the security breach that saw Prime Minister Narendra Modi's car stuck on a flyover in the state for nearly 20 minutes and his scheduled rally in Ferozepur being cancelled. Channi said that they had requested the Prime Minister's Office to cancel his visit due to bad weather conditions and protests by farmers. He also claimed that tight security arrangements were made but the PM decided to take a detour to Hussainiwala which wasn't part of his initial route.
