Centre has stock of Onions but states aren't buying: Paswan
As the onion prices across the country continue to soar, Union Minister of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution Ram Vilas Paswan said that Centre has enough stock of onions but the states are not ready to buy them. The minister further added that if the states don't buy them soon, the onions might go bad, which will lead to further inflation in the price.
