Centenary Finale: RSS Concludes Year-Long Centenary Celebrations With Dussehra Programme in Nagpur
The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) has begun its annual Dussehra programme at its headquarters in Nagpur, Maharashtra. This year’s celebration holds special significance as it marks the conclusion of events commemorating the organisation’s centenary. RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat arrived at the headquarters to participate in the ceremony. He first paid floral tribute to RSS founder Dr. Keshav Baliram Hedgewar and subsequently performed the traditional Shastra Puja, or weapons worship. The programme also includes an address by Bhagwat to the volunteers present at the gathering. The event marks an important occasion for the organisation as it concludes its centenary celebrations and observes its annual Dussehra tradition. Visuals from the headquarters show the ceremony underway, with volunteers assembled for the programme. Bhagwat’s address is expected to be a key part of the event, with attention focused on the message he delivers on this milestone occasion. The celebrations combine the organisation’s customary Dussehra rituals with the conclusion of its 100-year commemorative events.
