Cash Crop: New formula for farmers' income | Parivartan-2

Farmers are adopting high-value cash crops like fruits, vegetables and mentha, except for the cultivation of main crops.

Due to a lack of adequate storage in the area, farmers and traders have to suffer from time to time on a large scale. There is little information about how to avail them of institutional loans and loan facilities. As such, about half the farmers are indebted.
