CAA was brought to correct historical injustice: PM Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi was addressing at a programme of National Cadet Corps when he spoke on Citizenship Amendment Act. He said that the opposition parties are indulging in vote-bank politics in the name of CAA. He added, "Are these parties ignoring the fact that the minorities in Muslim countries are suffering?" Modi said that his government brought Citizenship Amendment Act to correct historical injustice and fulfil country's old promise to minorities living in neighbouring countries.
