CAA protests: 218 have been arrested from Lucknow, says DGP

DGP of Uttar Pradesh, Omprakash Singh, said that the police force was not arresting any of the innocent people. He added that only from Lucknow, 218 people had been arrested. "Nine people had died in the CAA protests and death toll may increase. External elements were involved in the matter. We are investigating to see if any NGOs or political people are involved or not," he added
