Breaking: Security Forces Launch Massive Manhunt After Pahalgam Terror Attack, Valley Under High Alert

Security forces have intensified their search for the terrorists responsible for the deadly Pahalgam attack. A large-scale search operation is currently underway across the Baisaran valley, with Army personnel, paramilitary forces, and the Jammu and Kashmir Police’s Special Operations Group (SOG) working in coordination. The operation is focused on locating and neutralizing the attackers believed to be hiding in the rugged mountainous terrain behind the valley. Troops have resumed patrolling, and heightened surveillance is in place. Helicopters are also being used for aerial monitoring, adding to the visible increase in military activity across the region. The atmosphere in Pahalgam remains tense and quiet, with shops and hotels that typically cater to morning tourists largely shut. Locals and visitors alike are gripped by fear following the brutal incident. In the wake of the attack, victims have been shifted to hospitals in Srinagar and Anantnag, while their families are also being relocated for safety. The possibility of Home Minister Amit Shah visiting Pahalgam has further increased security presence, with elite SPG and SSG teams already deployed. Pahalgam, once bustling with tourists, now echoes with silence and the distant sound of patrolling helicopters. ABP News continues to bring ground updates from the scene.
