Russian President Vladimir Putin held a meeting with India's National Security Advisor Ajit Doval at the Konstantinovsky Palace in St. Petersburg. During the meeting, Putin proposed organizing a bilateral meeting in Kazan on October 22, where they will review the implementation of agreements made during Prime Minister Modi's visit to Moscow and outline future possibilities. According to ANI, the meeting was focused on mapping out future prospects and strengthening the strategic partnership between Russia and India. Ajit Doval expressed gratitude to President Putin for the opportunity to meet and shared details about Prime Minister Modi's recent visit to Ukraine and his meeting with President Zelensky. The conversation was conducted in a closed format, with only the two leaders and Doval present. President Putin also praised India's growing global stature and its robust economy under Prime Minister Modi's leadership. He expressed satisfaction with the strengthening and momentum of the special strategic partnership between Russia and India.
