BJP And Congress High Command Brace For Tough Haryana Assembly Elections | ABP News
Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge and party MP Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday held a meeting with state unit leaders to discuss the strategy for the Haryana Assembly elections and asked them to refrain from publicly speaking on internal differences and internal matters of the party. The directive came against the backdrop of statements made by Kumari Selja and Randeep Surjewala after Kiran Chaudhary and her daughter Shruti Chaudhary quit the Congress.
Randeep Surjewala had said that if anyone goes from the party, there is a loss and the party should brainstorm about this. At the same time, Kumari Selja had said that justice was not done with Kiran Chaudhary. Congress general secretary (organisation) KC Venugopal, former Haryana chief minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda, former Union minister Kumari Selja, Pradesh Congress Committee president Uday Bhan, state in-charge Deepak Babaria and several other leaders attended the meeting held at the party headquarters.
