Nityanand Rai has courted controversy for saying "if the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) wins the upcoming Assembly election in Bihar, Kashmiri militants will take shelter in the state.” He made the statement while addressing a rally in Vaishali's Mahanar constituency.
