Tejashwi Yadav, the Leader of the Opposition, has been aggressively criticizing the Nitish Kumar government for the rising crime rates in Bihar. On Sunday, he took to social media platform X (formerly Twitter) to pose a critical question to Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. Yadav asked whether the people of Bihar have ever heard Kumar speak about the hundreds of bodies found daily and the collapsing bridges in the state. He also highlighted 71 criminal incidents in Bihar, using them to further attack the government. In his post, Yadav criticized the BJP-led "double engine government" and questioned whether Kumar has addressed the record-breaking crime rates, rampant corruption, and the deteriorating infrastructure in Bihar. He suggested that Kumar has not spoken about these issues and likely will not address them.
