Assembly Election 2024 Dates: Jammu And Kashmir Polls To Be Held In 3 Phases | ABP News

The Election Commission on Friday announced the dates for Assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir and Haryana. The EC said that elections will be held in three phases. In Haryana, assembly polls are set to be held in a single phase. Regarding Jammu and Kashmir, the polls will be held on 18 September, 25 September, and 1 October. In Haryana, polling will take place on October 1.
Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Rajiv Kumar addresses a press conference to announce the schedule for the General Election to Legislative Assemblies. Chief Election Commissioner Rajiv Kumar says, "The 2024 Lok Sabha polls were the biggest election process at the world level. It was completed successfully and peacefully. It created a very strongly democratic surface for the entire democratic world, it was peaceful without any violence and the whole country celebrated the festival of elections. We also made many records. For the first time, maximum polling took place in the world..."
