5 States Polling Day: Experts explain political equations
Three districts in West Bengal are witnessing a three-cornered contest for 31 assembly seats between the ruling Trinamool, BJP and Left Front-led Sanjukta Morcha in the third phase of Assembly polls on Tuesday.
Tamil Nadu is voting in a single-phase election where over 6 crore voters will choose among the 3,998 candidates seeking election to the 234 seats. while the AIADMK, allied with BJP, is seeking a third term in the Tamil Nadu assembly election. DMK led by Stalin has emerged as a strong challenger.
The polling has started in the five states that is West Bengal, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Assam and Kerala. Watch the ground report here
