Gurugram doctors perform rare liver transplant using a cow's vein
In a rare liver transplant case, doctors of Artemis hospital in India's Gurugram performed liver transplant on a one-year-old girl 'Hoor' who came from Saudi Arabia for treatment, using bovine jugular vein of a cow to provide blood circulation to the new liver. Doctors of the hospital said that the transplant precedure was extremely rare.
