Goa beaches witness large crowds before advent of Monsoon, shacks warn tourists | ABP News
Lifeguard on the Colva beach in South Goa warning people not to venture deeper into the water...Goa is seeing a deluge of tourists flocking to its beaches before they are closed for the monsoon season. Most of the tourists are coming in from neighbouring states like Maharashtra, Karnataka and Kerala. However, shack owners say the tourist footfall this season is not that great this year. Shacks are required to be dismantled as soon as the rains arrive. The peak tourist season ends after the advent of the southwest monsoon when the beaches are closed for swimming and other activities.
