Heavy rains lashed several parts of Delhi on Thursday bringing much-needed respite from the sultry weather conditions and brutal heatwave. The visuals shared by news agency ANI showed heavy downpours in areas like Sarita Vihar and Munirka. As per the India Meteorological Department, Delhi-NCR and adjoining regions are likely to receive rainfall over the weekend.
