Mumbai: PM Modi to lay foundation stone for 2 Metro projects

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will today launch the infrastructure and housing projects worth about Rs 41,000 crore in Maharashtra. There, Modi will then lay the foundation stone for the Thane-Bhiwandi-Kalyan metro 5 and Dahisar-Mira Bhayander metro-9 at Kalyan in adjoining Thane district.  Ahead of Modi’s visit, Shiv Sena MPs from Pune have decided to skip the function as Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray was not given an invitation for the event by the state government.
