Evening visuals of Cyclone Fani from Puri

Evening visuals from Puri - Reports say Cyclone Fani has gathered speed and is
rolling menacingly towards Odisha coast clocking 16 km per hour. It is likely to make a landfall close to Gopalpur near Puri between 8-10 AM, much before the earlier forecast of 3 pm on Friday.With the cyclonic storm Fani moving closer to the Odisha coast, the state government has evacuated 3,31,794 people to safer places so far while it has targeted to evacuate 11,54,475 people in 15 districts, said an official on Thursday.

Earlier, the state government had planned to evacuate only about eight lakh people.
