Choti Sarrdaarni's story revolves around Meher whose politically ambitious mother, Kulwant Kaur after learning about Meher's pregnancy gets her lover killed and forces her to marry Sarabjit, a well-connected widower with a five-year-old son Param. The Lohri celebrations will bring sadness for Meher and Sarabjit as they will receive a bad news. Their son Param will suffer from a deadly disease, as per the latest buzz.
