Former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan wins Madhya Pradesh's Vidisha seat by a margin of over 8,00,000 lakh votes. Union minister and former Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Arjun Munda trails by 1,23,710 votes in the Khunti constituency. The results will be declared by the Election Commission of India for elections to 543 Parliamentary constituencies, 175 seats of Andhra Pradesh Assembly constituencies, 147 seats of Odisha Assembly constituencies byelections to 25 Assembly constituencies. The counting comes after a marathon seven phases of voting which began on April 19 and continued till June 1. The process of counting votes will begin with the counting of postal ballot papers at the Returning Officer's (RO) table under Rule 54 A of the Conduct of Elections Rules 1961.
